Job Summary Position: Underwriting Account Senior Representative Location: Remote (candidate's location should be listed on resume) HealthSpring The Underwriting Account Senior Representative, within Cignas Supplemental Benefits, contributes to the underwriting process by handling all Medicare Supplement, Health, and Life underwritten applications. Essential Responsibilities Review medical history, data, and interviews employing critical thinking skills. Operate third-party software to summarize application medical and health data. Provide written correspondence to the applicant or broker regarding outstanding application requirements. Qualifications High School diploma is required. 2+ years insurance or medical experience, preferably medical insurance or PBM background. 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably via phone. Medical terminology knowledge preferred. Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize workload independently in a fast-paced environment.
