The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Director of Production to lead production across the studio while playing a key role in the continued growth of the business. You’ll oversee how integrated work is planned, resourced, and delivered across integrated projects, while also being responsible for individual revenue targets and actively growing the business.

You’ll build and deepen relationships with existing and prospective clients, identify new opportunities, lead and support pitches, and help convert opportunities into long-term partnerships. Working closely across our multidisciplinary teams, you’ll ensure we deliver exceptional work while continuing to grow our client portfolio and revenue.

• Lead and manage the production team across integrated projects including digital, experiential, content, social, film, and animation work.
• Own and deliver against individual revenue targets, with clear accountability for contributing to the agency’s overall growth.
• Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through your network, client relationships, and industry connections.
• Play a senior role in pitching and winning new business, from identifying opportunities and shaping the production approach through to presenting, scoping, and closing.
• Grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities to expand relationships, services, and revenue.
• Act as a trusted senior production and business partner to clients, building relationships that extend beyond individual projects.
• Oversee the full production lifecycle, including estimating, resourcing, timelines, budgets, execution, and delivery.
• Establish and maintain scalable production workflows, processes, and standards across disciplines.
• Partner with creative, strategy, technology, and account teams to translate ambitious ideas into executable production plans.
• Work closely with finance and leadership on forecasting, budget management, pipeline visibility, and revenue planning.
• Anticipate and resolve production challenges before they impact delivery or client relationships.
• Lead, mentor, and develop producers and production team members, building a high-performing and scalable production function.
• Help evolve Thinkingbox’s production offering and identify new capabilities, partnerships, and opportunities that strengthen our position in the market.

• 8+ years of senior production experience within an agency, studio, or similarly fast-paced creative environment.
• Deep experience across integrated production, including digital, experiential, content, social, film, and/or animation.
• A strong track record of generating revenue, developing new business, and growing existing client relationships.
• Experience working toward and achieving individual or team revenue targets.
• Confidence leading and contributing to pitches, developing scopes and production approaches, and helping turn opportunities into won business.
• An established network of client, brand, agency, and industry relationships that can support Thinkingbox’s continued growth.
• Proven ability to build trusted senior-level client relationships and identify opportunities within existing accounts.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including estimating, forecasting, budget management, and understanding project profitability.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, and scaling multidisciplinary production teams.
• Deep knowledge of production pipelines and the ability to oversee complex, integrated work from initial opportunity through final delivery.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership style.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to balance creative ambition, commercial opportunity, client needs, and operational realities.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as internal equity, candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role. If your compensation expectations fall outside of this range, we still welcome your application.
