SQL Product Owner->CLT->CS

Overview Our client is seeking a SQL Product Owner to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on supporting BAU SQL and ETL development, as well as aiding the critical SQL migration project underway. The Project We are migrating from two legacy standalone SQL servers to a new DBaaS environment. This entails migrating ETL processes and data transformations to the new servers, converting SQL Agent jobs to Autosys automation, and redesigning the database architecture. The modernization uses a medallion approach with Bronze, Silver, and Gold databases for data ingestion, plus centralized databases for Master Data Sets and Reporting. There is a dependent reporting team with over 300 Tableau and Power BI dashboards currently consuming data from legacy servers, so all data processes and transformations must be migrated and converted to the new DBaaS environment to support these dashboards. Responsibilities Support BAU SQL and ETL development activities. Participate in the migration project, including monitoring SQL jobs and performing operational tasks. Assist in redesigning database architecture for the DBaaS environment. Migrate ETL processes and data transformations to the new environment. Convert SQL Agent jobs to Autosys automation and ensure successful scheduling. Collaborate with the reporting team to ensure dashboards (Tableau and Power BI) continue to function after migration. Engage in performance tuning and data transformation optimization as needed. Must Have MS SQL Server Tableau Position Summary This role will be the data analyst for process design and build to assist in the resolution of the Sev1 SIAI for Corporate Mobile. Required Qualifications Logical problem-solver able to autonomously work through challenges but equally able to engage and collaborate with others. Data analysis skills (e.g. MS Excel, MS Access, MS SQL Server). Presentation skills (e.g. MS PowerPoint). Data Visualization Tools (Tableau, Power BI). Desired Qualifications 2-3+ years experience in an analytical role in the Financial Services sector. Degree level education or equivalent work experience.
