Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Unit Information
Location: Dallas, TX
Unit Type: Outpatient Transplant Services (Abdominal - Liver, Kidney, & Pancreas)
Staffing: 60-70 Staff Members, primarily RN
Job Description
This position primarily involves desk work, requiring proficiency in MediTech and Microsoft applications. Responsibilities include data collection, potential patient assessments, and participation in WebEx meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- Essential Skills:
- No transplant experience required; open to candidates willing to assist across various patient stages.
- Preferred Skills:
- Two or more years of transplant experience.
- Experience with the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS).
- Experience with Organ Procurement Organizations (OPO).
Typical Duties
- Desk-based tasks that require strong computer skills.
- Potential involvement in clinic days, including rooming and assessing patients.
- Participation in meetings via WebEx as required.
Personality Fit
Candidates should demonstrate flexibility in managing patient assignments, including pre-, waitlist, and post-solid organ transplant patients. A caring and compassionate demeanor is essential for addressing complex patient psychosocial needs.
Certification Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS)

Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs or business casual attire.
