Job Title: Supply Management Planner II
Location: Davenport, IA 52809
Duration: 24 Months – Possible Extension/Conversion
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime: May Be Required

Description:

Position Summary

• Manage the day-to-day performance and relationships of assigned suppliers across multiple commodities.
• Support factory operations by ensuring timely delivery of purchased parts.
• Work with suppliers to improve quality, delivery, and overall supply performance.
• Manage suppliers across one or more locations, supporting both internal and external supply needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute supply chain planning activities within established systems and processes.
• Maintain daily communication with business-critical suppliers.
• Resolve complex supplier or supply issues and analyze supplier performance.
• Monitor and report key supplier management indicators.
• Collect information on: Cost drivers, Market conditions, Supply issues, Innovation opportunities, Alternative suppliers
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
• Monitor contract performance and provide information for contract negotiations and renewals.
• Manage site/factory inventory and resolve discrepancies following established procedures.
• Coordinate meetings, actions, and events with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and oversee the delivery of purchased parts.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4-year degree in: Business, Supply Management, Related field
• Open to recent graduates.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Basic experience with office/operational systems.

Education

Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education in Business, Supply Management, or a related field.
