Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Respiratory TherapistThe Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings.Minimum Requirements:Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practicesOne year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferredCurrent CPR if applicableTB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicableCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)Must meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics ExpectationsMust have 3+ years' pediatric experience, willing to work with vented patients in areas such as ED, NICU, PICU and pediatrics general care. Conducting diagnostic test, developing treatment plans and providing emergency care when needed.
