Travel Operating Room Nurse - $2,336 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Fort Myers, Florida.

Job Description & Requirements

Job Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Roomnursing experience required.
• Pediatric Operating Room experience is required.
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates must have experience in an Operating Room serving both adult and pediatric patient populations .

Required Clinical Experience

Experience with the following surgical specialties is required:

• ENT
• General Surgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Endovascular Surgery
• Robotics
• Dental Surgery
• Gynecology (GYN)
• Orthopedics
• Spine Surgery
• Neurosurgery

Education

• Degree accreditation must be included on the candidate profile , or the candidate must have 5 years of relevant experience .

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Preferred Certification

• CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) preferred.

Charting System

• Epic experience required.

Schedule

• Shift: 12-Hour Days
• Hours: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• On-call: Required.
  • Call schedule averages approximately 4 call shifts per month .
  • Call assignments may include:
    • End-of-Shift (EOS): 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
    • Overnight Call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
    • Backup Call (BUC): 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Call requirements will be discussed with the hiring manager during the interview.

Floating

• Floating is required.
• Travelers are expected to float first and may be required to float to sister campuses based on staffing needs.

Additional Requirements

• 50-mile radius rule applies.

Facility Expectations

• The facility places a strong emphasis on team culture .
• Travelers are expected to integrate into the unit and function as core staff members throughout the assignment.
