Plant Operations Associate, UPM, 1st Shift

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

WORKING LOCATION: Benicia, CA , On-site

FLSA STATUS:  Non-Exempt

Starting Wage:  $21 - $23 depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• 
  

  Run saws and cutting machines (we'll train you)



• 
  

  Cut titanium, stainless, and nickel to customer and industry standard tolerances



• 
  

  Forklift, packing , cutting equipment, and light driving duties



• Load and unload materials


• Make sure parts meet required specs and quality standards


• Keep your machine running and adjust when needed


• Troubleshoot basic machine or material issues


• Check your work-quality matters here


• Keep your area clean and safe


• Call out problems when something’s not right

What We’re Looking For

• You show up on time and ready to work


• You’re not afraid of physical, hands-on work


• You’ve got some mechanical sense (or want to learn)


• Good troubleshooting skills—you can think through problems 


• Warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus (not required) 


• You pay attention - mistakes cost time and material


• You work well with a team


• References requested
