We know you may not be looking for a job, yet your inner voice keeps telling you that you should be recognized for your achievements and appreciated for your hard work. Do you love being outside and meeting people every day? Do you want a job where you can thrive and grow doing what you love? If this is missing from your current job, we would love to talk to you to see if you are a good fit.

We are all about recognizing the hard work you put in and developing what is important to you and your career. We are uniquely positioned to enhance your career growth by providing structure with the potential to heal your career wounds. How, you ask? Simple, not only do we work hard every day, but understand the importance of reflecting on the success to celebrate what we have accomplished and are intentional about growing in the future. We believe we grow best together.

You will be a valued member working within the DC Inspections Team. For your initial job responsibilities, we will challenge you to:

In the first 90 days, you will prevail over the following:

  • Have a solid understanding of plan reading elevation sections, grading plans and structural details.
  • Know and understand the services DC Inspections provides by going on site visits with a senior inspector for different types of inspection services (i.e. observe grading observations, compaction testing, pile driving inspections).

Following the initial 90-day training period:

  • Demonstrate competence in reading grading plans and structural details, collecting soil samples, perform compaction testing and observations in the field and laboratory tests pertaining to soils.
  • Active pursuit of special inspector certifications and testing technician certifications.

We hire talented people based on accomplishments, intellectual curiosity, and synergy. It is important to note that we do not hire based on checking off boxes on a wish list of requirements, we want to make sure you will be good fit for our team. If you have read this far, you show resolve, and we should meet!

While a resume is important (which we welcome you to send), we would like to get to know you as a person. Please respond to us and let us know the answers to the questions presented when submitting the application.
