As the hospital reopens and grows, the Medical Director will have input into developing schedules and workflows that support both team wellbeing and efficient patient care. Role Description and Responsibilities The Medical Director will serve as the clinical leader of the hospital, combining hands-on veterinary medicine with leadership responsibilities. The role includes establishing and maintaining high standards of veterinary care, developing medical protocols, and providing guidance on complex cases. The Medical Director will work closely with the Practice Manager to oversee hospital operations, monitor performance metrics, and support financial sustainability. Additional responsibilities include mentoring veterinarians and support staff, helping recruit and develop the clinical team, maintaining regulatory compliance, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives within the hospital.
