What You'll Do

As Part Of Our Correctional Healthcare Team, You'll Provide Hands-On Care To Patients While Working Alongside Dedicated Healthcare Professionals.

Your Responsibilities May Include:

• Performing Nursing Assessments And Monitoring Patient Conditions
• Administering Medications And Treatments Within Your Scope Of Practice
• Responding To Urgent And Emergent Medical Needs
• Recognizing Changes In Patient Condition And Communicating Concerns Appropriately
• Providing Patient Education And Supporting Continuity Of Care
• Maintaining Accurate And Timely Electronic Medical Records
• Following Established Clinical Protocols And Standards Of Care
• Collaborating With Nurses, Providers, And Correctional Staff
• Maintaining A Professional, Compassionate Approach To Patient Care
• Helping Create A Safe And Therapeutic Healthcare Environment

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

For Rn Candidates:

• Current, Unrestricted Alabama Rn License
• Current Cpr Certification
• Strong Clinical Assessment And Critical Thinking Skills

For Lpn Candidates:

• Current, Unrestricted Alabama Lpn License
• Current Cpr Certification
• Strong Clinical Assessment And Critical Thinking Skills

For All Candidates:

• Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills
• Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team
• Professional, Dependable, And Compassionate Approach To Patient Care
• Previous Nursing Experience Preferred
• Correctional Healthcare Experience Is A Plus, But Not Required

6:00 Pm To 6:30 Am 12-Hour Shifts On A Rotating Schedule
