Join us at Andersen, and together, lets write the story of your success!/ph3The Role/h3pPrivate Accounting Solutions (PAS) Paraprofessionals serve as members of various client service teams and are responsible for a variety of administrative accounting functions. Primary responsibilities include compiling and maintaining accounts payable records on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Other essential functions include:/pulliReviewing all vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment/liliCommunicating with vendors to resolve any payment discrepancies/liliCompiling accounts payable data into spreadsheets/liliMaintaining accurate vendor master lists, with correct addresses and other necessary information/liliCopying, scanning and filing documents/reports/liliAssisting with year-end duties including the processing of 1099 information for applicable vendors/liliExpense coding of credit card activity/liliPerforming various vendor analysis and reconciliation and other ad-hoc projects as requested by client service teams/liliInforming supervisors of any potential issues, priorities and required follow-up/liliPerforming daily, weekly and monthly recordkeeping tasks/liliCompleting assignments on a timely basis and meet deadlines set by supervisors/liliMonitoring various sources (e.g., client email, client inbox systems and relevant portals) to retrieve, organize, process and file client information and forward to others as appropriate/liliUpdating information tracking systems to monitor receipt of expected invoices and other documents/li/ulh3The Requirements/h3ulliAssociate Degree in Accounting (or related subject area), Accounting Certificate or minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience/liliPrevious experience in accounts payable, accounting and/or account reconciliations/liliSolid foundation in accounting principles and practices preferred/liliSelf-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment/liliAbility to interact with and gain respect of all levels of internal and client personnel/liliStrong communications skills, both written and verbal/liliStrong interpersonal skills/liliProficient use of technology including MS Excel, MS Word, general ledger software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct), bill payment software (e.g., bill.com), expense management software (e.g., Expensify)/liliAbility to work overtime as necessary/li/ulh3Compensation And Benefits/h3pOur firm offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being, growth, and long-term success of our people. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidates qualifications, experience, and skill set./ppBenefits: Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage. Employees may enroll in the firms 401(k) plan upon hire. We offer 160 hours of paid time off annually, along with twelve paid holidays each calendar year.
