Application Administrator - Windows

Location Tampa, FL (Hybrid) Clearance Requirement Active Secret or TS / SCI Clearance Employment Type Full-Time Core business hours with on-call availability Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Windows Application Administrator Lead to provide technical leadership for enterprise application administration on a federal government IT program. You will oversee Windows Server-hosted applications, mentor team members, drive STIG compliance, and serve as the primary technical escalation point for Windows environment issues. Key Responsibilities Lead technical operations for enterprise Windows application administration in a federal IT environment Mentor and guide junior application administrators on Windows platforms Oversee application deployment, patching, monitoring, and incident response on Windows Server environments Maintain STIG configurations and drive cybersecurity compliance across all Windows-hosted systems Coordinate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and development teams to sustain application environments Develop and maintain SOPs, network diagrams, and technical documentation Lead disaster recovery testing and technology refresh planning for Windows-hosted applications Serve as primary technical escalation point for Windows environment issues Required Qualifications DoD Security clearance or Active Secret and/or ability to obtain Bachelor's degree OR current Microsoft certification (Azure Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator) Minimum 7 years of Windows Server and application administration with 2+ years in a lead role Strong experience with Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory, and enterprise application management Familiarity with security hardening, STIG compliance, and patch management practices Preferred Qualifications Experience with web/application servers (Apache, Tomcat) in Windows environments Familiarity with Splunk or similar SIEM platforms Cloud-hosted application environment experience (OCI, Azure, or AWS) Background in federal IT with DoD security compliance responsibilities Certifications Microsoft certification preferred (Azure Administrator or Windows Server Hybrid) #J-18808-Ljbffr Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC
