Scrum MasterLocation: Greenwood Village, COOnsite Requirement: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote per weekDuration: Long-term contract with potential for extension/conversionCompensation: $50-70/hrAbout the OpportunityWe're seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a growing software engineering organization undergoing a large-scale platform modernization initiative. This role will partner closely with development leads, product ownership, and business stakeholders to facilitate Agile delivery across multiple high-performing engineering teams.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a mature Agile environment and enjoys driving team effectiveness through facilitation, coordination, servant leadership, and data-driven insights. The position is heavily focused on Agile execution, team coaching, Jira reporting, and stakeholder communication rather than traditional project management.What You'll DoFacilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and RetrospectivesSupport multiple software development teams and help drive delivery of strategic platform modernization initiativesIdentify, track, and remove blockers that impact team productivity and sprint commitmentsPartner with Product Owners, Development Leads, and business stakeholders to improve team alignment and delivery outcomesHelp development teams obtain business clarifications and resolve cross-functional dependenciesDrive continuous improvement while respecting established team practices and cultureGenerate Jira-based reporting (JQL), dashboards, and metrics for engineering leadershipCreate weekly and monthly delivery reports and respond to ad hoc leadership reporting requestsMonitor Agile metrics and provide insights into team health, velocity, and delivery performanceFoster collaboration across geographically distributed teamsRequired Qualifications5-10+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting software engineering teamsDeep understanding of Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, and SDLC processesExperience facilitating Agile ceremonies in mature Agile environmentsAdvanced Jira expertise, including strong JQL (Jira Query Language) skillsExperience creating executive-level dashboards, reports, and delivery metricsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to influence teams through collaboration and coaching rather than authorityExperience supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneouslyStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesPreferred QualificationsPrevious software development or technical backgroundExperience working within large enterprise environmentsExposure to SAFe, Kanban, and ScrumScrum certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, etc.)Prior project management experienceExperience supporting telecommunications, technology, or highly regulated industriesWhat We're Looking ForThe successful candidate will be a pragmatic Agile leader who understands how to work within an established organization.
