The Role Guarantee the availability of all machines / equipment and facilities, optimizing human and technical resources. Main Responsibilities Plan and carry out the necessary preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with the Work Orders (WO) and resources available, following the strategy laid down by the Production Manager. Propose annual maintenance budget. Monthly monitoring of the annual maintenance budget. Management of deviations. Purchase any spare parts according to the Saica purchases procedure. Management of maintenance spare parts and consumables warehouse Management of maintenance subcontracting. Active involvement in the health and safety of his/her colleagues and that of subcontracted companies, ensuring compliance with the procedures for the assignment of equipment in maintenance interventions. Keep machine safety systems active. Encourage colleagues and subcontracted companies to respect criteria of tidiness and cleanliness in their work. Analyze repetitive and major breakdowns and propose action plans to correct them. Co-ordinate issues concerning staff with HR. Organize and actively participate in the assembly of new machines and facilities, ensuring safety of the new machines and general facilities. Fulfil and promote Health and Safety procedures. To take responsibility for controlling requests, acceptance, filing and logistics of machine technical documentation (exploded views, drawings, etc.) Co-operate in investment plans for the site. Provide support for continuous improvement activities and plan and carry out the annual continuous improvement plan. Prepare and monitor the training plan for team members, encouraging multi-skilling. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are respected, and machines are in proper conditions. Preventive maintenance and calibration is respected. Coordinate with production and logistic departments the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance. Identify training needs of their staff and coordinate the implementation of the training using the defined methodology. Implement, encourage and sustain the group management system in production area. Minimum Requirements Academic qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required. Master's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred. Black Belt or Green Belt certification a plus. Professional experience 3-5 years’ experience in a similar post, preferably in the same sector or similar.
