RN – CVOR

This role is for an experienced Pediatric CVOR RN who's steady in high-acuity surgical environments and comfortable with call. Advocate Christ is a well-established surgical program, and they're looking for someone who knows their lane and can step in with confidence.

Schedule & Call

• 10-hour day shifts

• 40 hours per week

• On-call requirement:

  • 1 weekday call shift per week

  • 1 full weekend per month (Friday through Monday morning)

  • Total on-call commitment averages 125 hours/month

• Holiday: 1 holiday per contract

• No weekend rotation outside of call

• No floating

Location: 4440 W 95th St, Oak Lawn, IL 60453 South Chicagoland area

Role Overview:

• Pediatric-focused Cardiovascular Operating Room

• High-acuity surgical cases requiring strong teamwork, precision, and calm decision-making

• Contractor role, contract-only

What They're Looking For

• Solid CVOR RN experience, with pediatric exposure

• Comfortable taking call and supporting emergent cases

• Strong OR fundamentals and communication skills

• Ability to work independently while staying tightly aligned with the surgical team
