CT Technologist Nights

The CT Technologist delivers high-quality imaging and supportive patient care in a collaborative healthcare setting. Responsibilities include performing CT procedures per department protocols, operating imaging equipment safely, and adjusting techniques to ensure diagnostic accuracy while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA). They are responsible for maintaining equipment, adhering to infection control standards, obtaining patient history, and verifying orders. Clear communication using AIDET ensures patient comfort and understanding. Technologists position patients, administer contrast agents via venipuncture, and review images for diagnostic quality, making corrections as needed. They also document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS, monitor patient status, respond to emergencies, and support department operations. Qualifications Include High School Diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program At least 1 year of radiology experience ARRT R (Radiography) and ARRT CT certifications BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
