Candidates are expected to teach courses such as: Probability and Statistics for Computer Science and Basics of Statistical Computing Probability and Statistics for Electrical & Computer Engineering Statistics for the Biomedical Sciences Other departmental mathematics or statistics courses In Addition To Teaching Responsibilities, Successful Candidates Will Contribute meaningfully to undergraduate and graduate program development and departmental service Engage in professional development to stay updated with subject expertise and evidence-based instructional practices Department Overview The Department Of Mathematics Is One Of Six Departments In The College Of Science & Mathematics (also Home To The School Of Earth & Environment). It Offers Several Degrees Including B.A., B.S., and M.A. in Mathematics B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Data Science (jointly with the Department of Computer Science) The department supports nearly 6,000 students annually through multiple interdisciplinary collaborations and industry partnerships.
