Psychotherapist

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Psychotherapists use a variety of psychological

techniques to help clients overcome psychiatric illnesses, such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, addictions, or obsessions. Anesis Psychotherapists specialize in providing culturally sensitive mental health services to people of color and multicultural families. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain a full-time caseload, seeing clients five days per week with a minimum of six billable hours per day. Conduct initial assessments to understand clients\' mental health status, history, and needs. Create individualized treatment plans based on the client\'s specific needs and therapeutic goals. Provide individualized therapy using various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychoanalysis, or person-centered therapy. Implement culturally responsive interventions across the lifespan and apply systems-based approaches for individuals and families, specifically including families that are blended or involved in adoption or foster care. Offer immediate support and intervention during mental health crises. Sign clinical notes within 24-48 hours of seeing a client; Revise clinical notes as required by clinical supervisor within 24 hours of notice of need to revise clinical note. Confer with Anesis Therapy team regularly regarding case progress and techniques used, to promote and evaluate professional development and assure quality of care. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, policies, and procedures. Comply with employment contract. Attend weekly staff consultations and staff meetings/trainings. Create interoffice referrals. Participate in the establishment or revision of Anesis policies, procedures, guidelines, goals and objectives. Regularly audit own cases.
