Your Core Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (within your credentialing)
• Teaching patients and their families about preventive measures, wellness options, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions consistent with the scope of practice
• Participating in ongoing patient follow-ups and chronic disease management
• Working across multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, patient-focused care
• Maintaining precise and complete documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications You'll Need

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in New Mexico
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to achieve within 90 days)
