Associate Veterinarian

Associate Veterinarian Idaho. Our client is a full service, busy and growing practice located in Southeastern, ID, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian. The practice strives to provide high quality veterinary care to a close-knit community and prides itself on building long term relationships with clients.

The position for is primarily small animal work but also capable of taking equine emergencies when on call. We expect our ideal candidate to become an integrated part of the practice.

The incumbent will attend daily scheduled appointments, walk ins or emergencies. One day a week the veterinarian will have surgeries which would include spays, neuters, lump removals, dentals, or other scheduled surgical procedures.

There is a requirement to take some call on weeknights and some weekends. The emergency call would be for clients with small animals and equine. There will be some travel to the practice’s satellite Clinic that is about 30 minutes from the main clinic and a vehicle is provided.

Qualifications:
Must have a Veterinary Degree, Idaho State Board of Veterinary Medicine license or ability to obtain one, and DEA license. Must be comfortable with small animal practice and Equine emergencies.

Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary (depends on experience).
Medical insurance, 2 weeks of paid vacation starting off; 5 days of sick leave; paid continuing education once a year.
