Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in New Orleans, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 07:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 07:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or other unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional interaction. Document incidents, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations in a clear and timely manner, and assist with directed post orders and location-specific procedures as needed. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
