Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care as a member of the operating room patient care team
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a broad range of surgical specialties including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic Procedures, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General, Orthopedic, Robotics, Vascular, and Thoracic
• Serve as an advisor and resource for patients and their families throughout the perioperative experience
• Apply evidence-based care practices and support minimally invasive and advanced surgical techniques
• Float within the facility within scope of practice as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Current BLS certification required
• 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma course required
• 8-hour annual trauma CEUs required
• Proficiency across multiple surgical specialties as listed above

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Background in high-acuity or Level I/II trauma center environments
• First-time travelers welcome to apply
