Food Service Utility

Chartwells K12 is hiring immediately for a full time Food Service Utility position at Homestead Hills Elementary, located at 849 Husky Trail, Benzonia, MI 49616. This is a full time position scheduled from Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. More details will be provided upon interview. Prior kitchen experience is preferred.

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. Essential duties and responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors, washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces, removing trash and placing it into designated containers, steaming clean or hosing out garbage cans, transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, assisting with banquet table and front of the house set up, assisting with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product, distributing supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed, complying with outlined sanitation and safety requirements, and performing other duties as assigned.
