Cook Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing quality service to our residents

Cook Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements
• Assist with meal preparation, portioning, and serving as needed
• Oversee and assist Dietary Aides with daily kitchen and dining responsibilities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area
• Follow all applicable state and federal food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and dietary standards
• Help ensure residents receive meals that are prepared safely, accurately, and with care
