Supply Chain Specialist Location: Cincinnati, OH Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Schedule: 1st Shift Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with one of our clients in the Cincinnati area to recruit a Supply Chain Specialist. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in procurement, inventory control, logistics, demand planning, or supplier management. The Supply Chain Specialist will serve as a key liaison between vendors, operations, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient material flow and uninterrupted business operations. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and supplier coordination. Analyze inventory levels and demand forecasts to ensure material availability while minimizing excess stock. Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules to support operational goals. Coordinate purchase orders, order acknowledgments, and shipment tracking. Collaborate with production, warehouse, customer service, and procurement teams to resolve supply chain issues. Utilize ERP systems to maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, and planning data. Identify and implement process improvements that enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs. Review and analyze supply chain metrics, including inventory turns, service levels, and delivery performance. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, backorders, and supplier-related concerns. Support strategic sourcing initiatives and vendor relationship management activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory planning, logistics, procurement, or related functions. Experience working within ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, or industrial experience is highly preferred.
