Accounting/Finance Intern

Memphis, United States | Posted on 07/29/2026 The Accounting Intern supports the CFO by performing basicaccounting duties, assisting with financial record-keeping, and gainingexposure to tax preparation and compliance. This role provides practicalexperience in financial operations, reporting, and tax-related processes. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparing and maintaining financialrecords and reports Perform data entry of financial transactionsinto accounting software Help reconcile bank statements and accounts Support accounts payable and receivableprocesses Assist in preparing invoices, expense reports,and journal entries Organize and file financial documents (physicaland digital) Help with month-end and year-end closingactivities Conduct basic financial analysis and research asneeded Ensure compliance with company policies andaccounting standards Assist with preparation of tax documents andfilings Support tax research and ensure compliance withfederal, state, and local regulations Help organize and maintain tax records anddocumentation Assist during tax season with data collectionand entry Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed adegree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Basic understanding of accounting principles(GAAP preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MSOffice applications Familiarity with accounting software (e.g.,QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Hands-on experience in accounting practices Mentorship from experienced professionals Opportunity for full-time employment afterinternship Galaxy Distribution is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran disability or genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law in employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
