Location: Charlton, MA Employment Type: Full time; direct hire Shift: DAY SHIFT Wednesday to Sunday 4am to 4pm - Enjoy a 4-day work week with Wednesday to Saturday 4 AM to 4 PM shifts, allowing for long weekends and work-life balance. Role Overview: As an Assistant Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the daily operations of our facilities. You’ll be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements, balancing multiple tasks, and adapting to evolving needs. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, supervisors, and external partners will ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and the delivery of exceptional maintenance services. This position offers excellent advancement opportunities. Successful Assistant Maintenance Managers can progress to roles such as Maintenance Manager, Senior Maintenance Manager, Regional Maintenance Manager, Reliability Program Manager, Building Wellness Manager, and other key operational positions. As a key liaison between our technicians and clients, the potential for career growth is limitless! Key Responsibilities: Morning Briefing: Begin with a team meeting to set priorities, review safety updates, and address ongoing maintenance issues. Work Orders Management: Evaluate, prioritize, and delegate work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance. Facility Walkthrough: Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs, equipment issues, safety hazards, and ensure cleanliness. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations established by Cushman & Wakefield and relevant authorities. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to find improvement opportunities and generate reports for management. Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and support maintenance technicians, conduct performance reviews, and provide training and development. Qualifications: Leadership Experience: At least 3 years in a leadership position, demonstrating experience in managing KPIs and maintenance programs. Strong ability to lead and motivate a team is essential. Safety Knowledge: In-depth understanding of safety standards, regulations, and best practices in maintenance. Experience in safety training and audits is preferred. Education Requirements: A 4-year degree with 3 years of leadership experience, or at least 5 years of leadership experience in place of a degree. Relevant degrees or certifications in mechanical or electrical engineering, facilities management, or related fields are beneficial. Compensation and Schedule: Salary: $100,000 - $118,000 per year, plus a 10% bonus incentive. Shifts: 4x12-hour shifts, with options from 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM or 4:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Shifts include Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday. Flexibility is required. Why Cushman & Wakefield Services?
