Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Reedley, California. Travel - temporary assignment starting 08/17/2026 for about 8 weeks. 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift (3x12s). Responsibilities
- Provide direct obstetric nursing care for a patient or group of patients following the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Monitor labor progress, fetal status, and maternal condition; administer medications per orders and document care accurately.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to clinical decisions; escalate concerns as appropriate.
- Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and transition care within the scope of L&D.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, totaling 36 hours per week
- Experience in labor and delivery or high-acuity obstetric care preferred
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements and work in a hospital setting
