Description Location: Saginaw, MI MKR Fabrication, a subsidiary of Palladyne AI, is a heavy fabrication and weld shop with support and assembly capabilities that specializes in manufacturing heavy duty, complex components. Daily Responsibilities Read technical drawings to prepare for and plan welds Weld components made from a variety of metals Inspect weld results and conduct post weld cleanup Operate a forklift and overhead crane Document welds for projects as necessary Maintain safe work environment by following safety processes and procedures Inspect and ensure equipment functionality and safety before use Record production in ERP – JobBOSS2 Requirements Three years of welding experience Must be able to lift 50 pounds Pass AWS tests performed by employer Must be able to effectively read blueprints/drawings Jobboss2 enterprise resource planning system experience is a plus MIG and TIG preferred Sub Arc preferred Aluminum and specialty metals experience preferred Growth & Impact MKR’s footprint across multiple industries is expanding.
