Operations Technician

Technician Position AvailableA client of ours in Wilsonville is looking to add a Technician to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanic/technician experience. You will be doing basic math with a high level of mechanical aptitude. If you are a reliable and motivated individual, then this is the position for you!This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity!Duties:Troubleshoot and repair equipment (including replacing cutting tools, adjusting machine settings and supporting automation) as needed.Perform equipment setups as directed.Support the maintenance systems and perform activities as needed.Work with maintenance and process engineering to troubleshoot and repair system failures.Collect and enter data as needed to support procedures and engineering tests.Interact with employees in a positive manner.Train employees on using technical equipment (Automation, CNC and other machines).Perform other duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs):HS Diploma or GEDBi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.Good communication and English skills (both verbal and written).General understanding of how the equipment works.Ability to handle tedious tasks.Ability to work with others and alone.Ability to lift up to 25lbs occasionallyWell organized with basic to moderate knowledge of computers and PLCs.Some college or special training in mechanics is preferred.High level of mechanical aptitude.Ability to read and interpret documents (written in English) such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Computer application users including emailPay: $20.00/hourSchedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 PMApply TODAY!Call us at View phone number on click.appcast.io Monday-Friday 8 am -5 pmSubmit your application via be sure when you submit your app to submit it to the West Tualatin location.
