We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support the preparation of high-quality compounded medications in a controlled pharmacy environment. This individual will play an essential role in maintaining sterile operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and supporting efficient medication production for patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile compounded medications according to established formulas, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform aseptic manipulations within cleanroom environments while maintaining strict adherence to sterile compounding practices.
• Accurately document compounding activities, inventory usage, cleaning records, and quality control activities.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, monitoring, and replenishing medications and supplies.
• Conduct routine cleaning, sanitization, and environmental monitoring to maintain cleanroom integrity.
• Inspect products, supplies, and equipment to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance requirements are met.
• Support troubleshooting efforts related to equipment, workflow challenges, and operational efficiencies.
• Prioritize production workload to ensure timely preparation and delivery of compounded medications.
• Participate in ongoing training and competency assessments related to sterile compounding best practices.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and operational staff to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Previous experience in sterile compounding, cleanroom operations, laboratory production, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Understanding of aseptic technique and contamination prevention practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately while following written procedures.
• Comfortable working in gowning requirements and controlled production environments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with sterile preparation or cleanroom procedures.
• Familiarity with inventory management and documentation practices.
• Ability to identify process improvements and support quality initiatives.
• Experience operating and maintaining specialized production equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr.
