Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg to provide comprehensive patient care in an assigned unit. Responsibilities Include Assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety, and discharge needs. Developing individualized, patient-specific care plans based on thorough assessments and data analysis. Implementing medical and nursing orders while ensuring appropriateness to patient status. Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams and supervising healthcare staff by delegating tasks and utilizing independent judgment. Participating in hourly rounding and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices to meet patient goals. Ensuring safety guidelines and safe work practices are followed; may serve as shift supervisor when needed. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the state and CPR certification; ACLS as applicable. Effective interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and excellent customer service skills. Basic computer proficiency. Preferred: BSN, at least one year of acute care experience, and relevant specialty certifications such as PALS, NRP, or Wound Care training. Additional Requirements Include Ability to assess patient needs, determine diagnoses, set realistic outcomes, and individualize care plans. Implementation of appropriate care based on patient assessments and orders. Potential to act as charge nurse and participate in ongoing quality evaluation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
