Sales Executive, STR – Nashville, TN Role Overview As a STR Sales Executive you will prospect, engage, and secure new clients while retaining and upselling existing customers. You will promote both STR and CoStar products, take an entrepreneurial approach to sell, train, and retain your book of business, and ensure high levels of customer service and renewal rates. This role is office-based with up to 25% travel. Responsibilities Gain a thorough understanding of clients and their needs. Become an expert in STR and CoStar’s unique value proposition and solutions. Own the sales cycle, including prospecting, demoing, closing, and renewal. Monitor client usage and engage clients to use services in new and effective ways. Conduct high‑level in‑person client and prospect product demonstrations. Provide valuable insights to all participants in the hotel industry. Represent STR at industry events, including preparing and delivering sales presentations and industry performance presentations. Meet and exceed sales, prospecting, and activity quotas. Utilize CRM efficiently, ensuring accurate information is uploaded and kept up to date. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college or university. 5+ years of successful sales experience in a business‑to‑business environment. A track record of commitment to prior employers. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas. Experience managing pipeline and deals through a CRM. Ability to travel up to 25%. Valid driver’s license. Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check before start. Preferred Qualifications Fluency in Spanish – both written and verbal.
