Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred, including evaluation and treatment planning for musculoskeletal conditions.
• Ability to perform 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions as part of standard clinic scheduling.
• Documentation skills to complete evaluations, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in a timely and compliant manner.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising or providing guidance to therapy aides, assistants, or students.
• Previous exposure to outpatient caseloads that include return-to-community functional goals.
• Active engagement in professional development and continuing education.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Clinic uses 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits.
• Candidate may be expected to follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, punctuality, and safety practices.

Impacting Patient Care

Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients and design functional treatment programs to support return to community activities. Maintain professional licensure and adhere to state practice acts and organizational compliance standards. Complete documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and professional development activities. Promote patient and employee safety by following safe patient handling, materials handling, infection control, and workplace safety practices.
