Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Interventional Cardiology

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).
• Conduct heart catheterizations and manage vascular disease medications.
• Oversee procedures such as coronary angiograms, embolic protection, carotid artery stenting, and atherectomies.
• Provide inpatient care with an average of >2 daily admissions per physician.
• Participate in on-call duties covering weekdays and weekends.
• Collaborate with fellow interventional cardiologists available during coverage.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient demographics.
• Proficiency in using EPIC documentation system/EMR.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Virginia state medical license (required).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Clean malpractice history (required).
• A self-query NPDB report, pulled within the last 30 days (required).
