Commerce Business Analyst

New York Post Data Labs is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Commerce Business Analyst to join our Data Science and Analytics team. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Key Responsibilities Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for all affiliate marketing campaigns, including clicks, conversions, commission, and return on investment (ROI). Develop and maintain recurring reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools to provide clear visibility into performance for stakeholders. Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in data to provide actionable recommendations for improving affiliate program efficiency and profitability. Assist in building and maintaining models and forecasts to project future performance needs. Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize landing pages, offers, and partner performance. Serve as a dedicated data partner to the Commerce Team, working closely with leadership to translate business goals into data strategy and deliver clear, actionable insights. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all data sources, reporting, and analysis. Qualifications Required: 2+ years of professional experience in data analytics within a publishing environment or affiliate marketing organization (publisher-focused experience strongly preferred). Experience with a business intelligence platform such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Familiarity with affiliate tracking and Commerce business models, platforms, and tools. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science) or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth analysis, draw conclusions, and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization. Preferred Qualifications Experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL for data manipulation and statistical analysis. Work Model This position follows a hybrid work model; however, in-office expectations may adjust based on business needs.
