Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family Program Administrator - Parents Commission Job Location: 1700 West Washington Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85007 Posting Details: Annual Salary: $65,000 This position will remain open until business needs are met Description of Duties: Under the direction of the Substance Abuse Manager: Supports and develops implementation of Arizona Management System (AMS) metrics and standards throughout all areas of work Provides input and support for development of statewide strategies on issues related to substance abuse and child well-being Develops Requests For Grant Applications – including planning, process flow, stakeholder engagement and timelines Reviews reports from PC and CALP grantees and provides feedback as necessary Monitors and updates all CALP contract files with the assigned Grant Auditor Monitors and updates all PC contract files with the assigned Grant Auditor Plans and prepares commission meeting agendas, dates, and presentations Researches prevention programs and strategies for PC funding purposes Coordinates and facilitates CALP meetings or calls with CALP grantees Responsible for developing vendor and grantee contracts for CALP Coordinates and facilitates PC meetings or calls with PC grantees Responsible for developing vendor and grantee contracts for PC Provides assistance with the contracted PC statewide evaluator Oversees the Child Abuse License Plate (CALP) grant portfolio Tracks service providers’ contracts and monthly invoices Tracks and updates PC contracts into the GOYFF database Oversees the Parents Commission (PC) grant portfolio Attends task force and committee meetings as assigned Develops, prepares and delivers grantee orientation Communicates with PC commission members Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): Has superior writing and verbal skills, and ability to work with professional staff, facilitate group-planning processes and work with all levels of personnel from all levels of government Minimum of three years of knowledge in youth and community substance abuse prevention/intervention; local/state related trends; program planning and design; and overall grant management Ability to work with diverse individuals and multi-disciplinary teams Ability to travel in state to complete program site visits Positive attitude and team player Excellent attention to detail Selective Preference(s): Bachelor’s (BA or BS) degree minimum Pre-Employment Requirements: If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, then the following requirements apply: Driver’s License Requirements.
