Entry-Level Landscape Architect

Job Summary Langan is seeking an Entry-Level Landscape Architect to join its collaborative team in Parsippany, NJ . The role will assist with planning, design, and permitting of landscape architecture, land development, and planning projects for public and private sector clients across the U.S. and abroad. Job Responsibilities Assist with planning, design, and permitting of landscape architecture, civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, and related software. Perform zoning, ordinance and permit assessments and determine project feasibility based on data analysis. Prepare and modify design and engineering documents, including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans. Assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical/geologic data to inform project planning and design. Provide field inspection services as needed. Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. 0–2 years of work-related experience. Passion for design excellence and creating inspiring places in urban environments. Highly creative with exceptional computer skills in Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and AutoCAD. Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow direction and work effectively in a team. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license in good standing. $73,500—$86,500 USD
