Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12s | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate care nursing for an adult and geriatric patient population on a 30-bed IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, and post-surgical cases (CABG pod 2, ALIF, EXLIF)
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 or 1:4 in accordance with unit standards
• Utilize Medhost EHR for accurate and timely documentation
• Float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as needed, including ED holds when applicable
• Participate in on-call requirements; must be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes when placed on call

Required Qualifications

• Active, current RN state license
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Medhost EHR
• Background in telemetry or stepdown/PCU nursing
• Familiarity with chest pain, cardiac, and respiratory patient populations
