Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,116–$2,238 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Start date: 08/03/2026 Setting: 25‑bed Critical Access Hospital with L&D, postpartum, and neonatal care Quick‑start options available Travel assignment with ongoing support throughout the engagement Responsibilities Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care for laboring patients, including postpartum and newborn care, in a small‑bore maternity setting Monitor fetal status and maternal vitals, assist with labor progress, administer medications and IV therapies as ordered, and support routine obstetric procedures Maintain patient safety, infection control, accurate documentation, and interaction with the obstetric team to optimize outcomes Deliver patient and family education, including newborn care and postnatal instructions, while maintaining compassionate, culturally competent care Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and unit staff; participate in shift handoffs and care coordination Float to other units as needed to support department needs and manage overflow from the Progressive Care Unit Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Vermont Experience in Labor & Delivery and/or postpartum and neonatal care preferred Ability to work night shifts and to float to other units as needed Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, thorough charting, and adherence to hospital policies Availability to participate in quarterly department education sessions as required Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Quick‑start opportunities to begin promptly Ongoing transition support to help with relocation and integration into the shift pattern #J-18808-Ljbffr HealthForce Healthcare
