Location: Plainview, TX 79072

Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care Hospital (Level IV Trauma Center)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 4x10 Hours
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
On-Call: Required

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Vascular imaging for a multispecialty role in an acute care hospital environment. The ideal candidate should have strong experience across vascular, general, OB/GYN, and cardiac ultrasound procedures and be comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, and echocardiography specialties
• Conduct vascular studies including venous Doppler, arterial exams, and carotid imaging
• Perform adult echocardiograms including contrast and stress echo (preferred)
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and high-quality image acquisition
• Review images for clarity and completeness before submission
• Follow hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Maintain efficient patient flow and quality care standards
• Participate in on-call coverage including nights and weekends

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• ARDMS certification required (RVT required for vascular focus)
• Minimum 1–2 years of multispecialty ultrasound experience
• Experience in abdominal ultrasound, OB/GYN, breast ultrasound, vascular imaging, and adult echocardiography
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume acute care setting
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Flexibility to work on-call shifts including weekends and nights
