Senior Java Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, microservices, cloud-native development, and distributed systems, with a passion for building reliable and scalable enterprise applications.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Framework.
- Develop and enhance microservices-based applications following industry best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and solution planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Design APIs and define interfaces between distributed system components.
- Build, optimize, and maintain highly available, scalable backend platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with strong focus on performance and reliability.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Framework.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing microservices.
- Experience building scalable, distributed, and highly available enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Sybase.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and application performance optimization.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Go programming.
- Python scripting experience.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of Service Mesh technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience building cloud-native applications using open-source frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment tools.
