Come work at the best place to give and receive care!​Job Description:Per Diem Pharmacist for the Bedford NH Retail Pharmacy Location About Elliot Retail PharmacyElliot Pharmacy provides high-quality and personal prescription services to patients in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, including those whose providers are outside the Elliot network. We offer a variety of value-added services, including vaccinations, adherence packaging, meds-to-beds, shipping, and non-hazardous compounding. In addition, we are a designated specialty pharmacy with access to many hard-to-find medications. Our pharmacists, technicians and front-store team are committed to building long-term collaborative relationships with our patients and helping them become and stay well.About the JobProvides centralized medication access support for Elliot Health System patients.What You’ll DoInterprets, reviews and submits requests for prescription prior authorization.Interprets physicians’ prescriptions and creates orders, accesses, inputs and retrieves prescription information from the electronic medical record and provides next steps for patient access.Consults with patients, physicians and clinic office staff regarding access to and use of medications.Conducts quality assurance and drug utilization reviews.Follows clinical guidelines set by medical staff and evaluate patient history in making clinical decisions.Coordinates medication patient assistance programs and low-cost alternatives for patients.Provides medication counseling to patients.Provides In-service education and other educational services upon request to Elliot Physician Practices, staff and patients.Responsible for the direct supervision and oversight of pharmacy technicians.What You’ll NeedEducation:Degree in Pharmacy from an institution accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education.Experience:Five years of previous health system pharmacy experience preferred.Certification/Licensure:Current New Hampshire license to practice Pharmacy; Board Certification preferred.What Elliot Health System Has to OfferHealth, dental, prescription, and vision coverage for full-time & part-time employeesShort-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance coverageCompetitive payContinuing Education Reimbursement Programs403(b) Retirement Savings PlanAndmore!Work Shift:per diem, variableSolutionHealth is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.SummaryLocation: Bedford, NHType: Part time
