Junior Estimator

Austermiller is seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to support our commercial and residential Roofing/Siding estimating team. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow a long-term career in construction by working alongside experienced professionals to prepare accurate project estimates and competitive bids. Responsibilities Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Perform material takeoffs and quantity calculations. Request, compare, and organize supplier and vendor pricing. Assist in preparing accurate project estimates and bid packages. Maintain estimating databases and software. Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and vendors throughout the bidding process. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software such as PlanSwift, The EDGE, or similar platforms. Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and time management. Competitive pay based on experience. Health insurance and 401(k).
