Location: Remote (PST working hours)Job Type: starts on a 12-month W2 hourly contract (extension/conversion based on performance)Compensation Range: $60-65/hrBenefits : health/vision/dental, 401k, and more ( ) On behalf of our tech client, we are seeking a Sponsored Content Strategist (Contract) to lead sponsored content workstreams across our content marketing team. In this role, you will drive the creation of analyst-backed and publisher-hosted content, including original research, articles, webinars, executive briefs, videos, infographics, and more, that builds awareness and pulls audiences into our campaign funnels.This role sits at the intersection of internal teams and external partners. You will work with analyst firms, research and survey partners, and trade publications, each with distinct working styles, review cycles, and expectations. Fluency in those nuances from day one is essential. Just as important: you will shape the content itself, not simply manage its production. We are looking for someone who understands the goal behind every project and gives substantive feedback that pulls the work toward that goal and toward our messaging.Responsibilities: Lead 1-2 major sponsored programs at a time, plus 2-3 smaller concurrent projects, from concept through publication and promotion. Partner with analyst firms and research partners on commissioned studies, custom surveys, and analyst-authored assets, shaping research questions and framing so findings serve our narrative and stand on their own credibility. Manage trade publication relationships, adapting to each outlet's editorial standards, sponsored content guidelines, and audience expectations. Shape content, don't just traffic it. Provide substantive editorial feedback on drafts, outlines, and creative concepts to align every asset to program goals and brand messaging. Extend a single research study into a full asset family - articles, webinar narratives, executive briefs, infographics - maximizing the value of each investment. Use AI tools regularly to synthesize research findings into clear narratives, pressure-test whether content will resonate with target audiences, verify that positioning is genuinely differentiated rather than echoing every other vendor, and double-check the accuracy and validity of research claims before publication. Collaborate across analyst relations, PR/communications, campaign teams, and product marketing to ensure sponsored content connects to broader campaign motions. Build internal enablement assets for major research initiatives, including slide decks that regional and sales teams can drop into their own presentations, highlighting key data points by industry, region, and country so each audience gets the story most relevant to them. Synthesize and socialize the impact of major research, coordinating data across channels to provide a holistic view of content performance, ROI, and measurement against benchmarks. Drive awareness and reach that campaign teams can convert into deeper funnel engagement. Maintain editorial standards, accessible language, and factual rigor across a global, diverse audience. Required Qualifications: 5+ years in content marketing, editorial, or sponsored/branded content - ideally B2B. Direct experience working with analyst firms and/or research partners on commissioned or co-created content. Experience with trade publications and media partners, including sponsored content programs and co-hosted webinars. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with networking, cybersecurity, and/or high-tech markets. Experience commissioning or shaping primary research and survey design. Strong writing and editing skills, with proven ability to give clear, substantive feedback that improves others' work. Ability to translate research data into compelling, credible narratives. Hands-on, daily proficiency with generative AI tools for synthesis, audience resonance testing, differentiation checks, and fact verification. Comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams with different stakeholder groups and review rhythms. Background working with global, distributed teams and partners.
