Electrical Field Supervisor – Custom Homes

American Titan Electric | Durham/ Raleigh, NC

Full-Time | Pay Based on Experience $30/hr and up

American Titan Electric is hiring an experienced Electrical Field Supervisor to oversee residential electrical work on custom homes. We are looking for a dependable leader who can manage crews, coordinate with builders, and maintain high standards of workmanship from rough-in through final inspection.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical crews and subcontractors across multiple custom home projects.
\n
• Plan and coordinate rough-ins, trim-outs, inspections, and punch-list work.
\n
• Read electrical plans, lighting layouts, specifications, and change orders.
\n
• Walk homes with builders and homeowners to confirm electrical locations and project expectations.
\n
• Coordinate with other trades to prevent conflicts and keep projects moving.
\n
• Inspect installations for code compliance, accuracy, cleanliness, and quality.
\n
• Schedule material needs and communicate shortages before they delay production.
\n
• Track job progress, crew performance, and labor hours against project budgets.
\n
• Identify and document extra work and changes before proceeding.
\n
• Troubleshoot field issues and help crews resolve installation problems.
\n
• Communicate daily updates, jobsite photos, and upcoming needs to the office.
\n
• Enforce safe work practices and ensure inspection corrections are completed promptly.
\n
• Assist with installation when needed.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Strong experience in residential electrical construction, specifically custom homes.
\n
• Previous experience as an electrical field supervisor, foreman, or lead electrician.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple jobsites and hold crews accountable for quality and productivity.
\n
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and residential installation requirements.
\n
• Ability to read plans and coordinate detailed lighting, switching, panel, and circuit layouts.
\n
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for schedules, photos, and project documentation.
\n
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between jobsites.
\n
• Experience with lighting controls, generators, home automation, and other custom home electrical systems is a plus.
