Marketing Assistant Full Time Clerical Parsons, KS, US 7 days ago Requisition ID: 1609 Position Summary: The Marketing Assistant is responsible for creating and implementing a wide variety of marketing content promoting Tank Connection’s products and brand. This position will develop media including print, web and digital marketing channels. Areas of focus may include video production, mobile or interactive media, social media, photography, technical writing and print content. The position requires frequent contact with internal and external parties. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop concepts and designs in support of Tank Connection’s marketing strategies. Produce graphic artwork for various mediums including print and online. Create written content including blogs, articles, whitepapers, etc. Organize trade show shipments, materials and marketing support. (occasional travel) Expand brand awareness on various social media accounts. Provide support for the marketing team. May perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Specifications: Maintain ongoing knowledge and skills of current technology trends and media platforms. Knowledge of principles of design, including layout, typography, color, balance and design trends. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, and Microsoft applications. Ability to be creative with design while meeting technical requirements for print production. Knowledge of social media integration such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail. Able to work proactively and independently on a broad variety of projects. Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet job requirements. Ability to handle constructive criticism and make multiple revisions to a project. Education and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Further education in marketing or graphic design is a plus. Hands on experience or working knowledge in social media marketing and/or graphic design preferred but not required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Expected to endure typical weather elements as defined by the job site location when traveling.
