Our trusted customer is actively hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support a fleet of construction equipment used in excavation, earthwork, and site development projects. This is a full-time opportunity with excellent benefits and long-term growth potential. Job Duties Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, and support equipment Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrains, and related components Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine service work Respond to field service calls and complete on-site repairs as needed Work closely with operators and supervisors to minimize equipment downtime Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation Order, install, and replace equipment parts and components Ensure equipment meets all safety and operational standards Follow company safety procedures and OSHA requirements Requirements 3–5+ years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostic procedures Ability to independently troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently Experience with excavation, earthmoving, and site development equipment preferred Must provide own basic mechanic tools (specialized tools provided) Valid driver's license required CDL preferred but not required ASE certification, OSHA training, and welding/fabrication experience are a plus Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Standard Benefits Full health insurance Weekly pay (on time, every time) Tool reimbursement Free OSHA + safety training Flex Time Quick response from real people (M–F, 8–5) Pay & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities available Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Company-provided uniforms and safety gear Stable, full-time employment Opportunities for advancement and long-term career growth Keep the fleet running.
