A specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacist for a 13‑week contract‑to‑hire opportunity. This role focuses on preparing compounded sterile and non‑sterile medications, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities: Accurately compound sterile and non-sterile preparations following master formula worksheets. Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to maintain patient safety. Ensure compliance with USP and related guidelines for compounding practices. Perform cleaning and garbing procedures per company standards. Conduct precise calculations and maintain thorough documentation. Operate production and computerized equipment while ensuring quality standards are met. Utilize correct aseptic techniques and prepare work areas meticulously before production. Conduct quality control tests and inspections to verify compounded medication accuracy, purity, and potency. Stay current with new compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies. Participate in ongoing professional development relevant to compounding pharmacy. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in sterile compounding is essential.
